This is a really interesting concept. One of the questions being worked through in the exchange space is, just how valuable is third-party data, and how do you make the most of it? There are so many potential data points from multiple sources to be reconciled and valued. But local data doesn’t require inference about what it means – it is what it is, as they say. It will be interesting to see how exchanges start to migrate into mobile as well.
